Cass
County Quilt Documentation Project
Help us document all
quilts made before 1960 with a Cass County connection. We provide
the documentation form and a color 8 x 10 photo. We are also
interested in Cass County Bicentennial Quilts made from the
patterns published in the Democrat-Missouri in 1976. Bring quilts
to the Cass County Historical Society during its normal hours: M -
F 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. More
than 80 quilts have already been documented, but this is an
ongoing effort to find as many as possible. Call the office for
more information at 816.380.4396 or download
a brochure.
