Everyone is invited to attend our meetings the second Tuesday of the month (Sept. - June) at 7:00 p.m. in Pearson Hall, 400 E. Mechanic, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Mission Statement

          To create a pleasant, friendly atmosphere wherein we can work to preserve, promote, and honor the historic significance of the American Civil War era with a special focus on Cass County, Missouri, and the Missouri-Kansas border war by providing a forum to stimulate interest through research, discussions, programs, and the encouragement of the preservation of articles, documents, and the sites of the time when our great nation was divided.

April 8, 2008 - Daniel Brewer, local muralist, shows examples of his work on historic themes
May 13, 2008 - Jackie & Jay Roberts, local genealogists talk about the 6th Missouri and the Burning of Dayton
