The Rock Ford School

Living History Classroom

This one-room school, originally located 5 miles west of Harrisonville, Missouri, was designated as School District 92 in Cass County.  The structure was dismantled and relocated on a site in Harrisonville, provided by the Cass R-9 School District.

The Rock Ford School Living History Classroom is available to elementary students who will be able to relive the history of previous generations by re-enacting the experience of a typical day in a one-room school.
